London’s outstanding new orchestra makes its Capitol debut in a colourful concert featuring one of classical music’s “greatest hits” – Ravel’s Bolero. Led by Juno-nominated conductor Eric Paetkau, the programme also includes Prokofiev’s sparkling Symphony No. 1; mezzo-soprano Jennifer Enns-Modolo performing works by Schubert and Mahler; and a saxophone concerto by Canadian composer Scott Good, with Wallace Halladay as soloist. A symphonic welcome to Spring!
